

China enterprises index up 1.66% on Nov 6
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange rose 211.94 points, or 1.66 percent, to close Friday''s trading at 13,017.20.
The H-shares index, initiated in August 1994 and readjusted on September 7, 2009, tracks the overall performance of 44 major Chinese mainland state-owned enterprises listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The Hang Seng China H-Financials Index went up 293.00 points, or 1.64 percent, to close at 18,151.54.
The H-Financials Index, initiated on Nov 27, 2006, readjusted on September 10, 2007, tracks the performance of nine major banks and insurers of the Chinese mainland.
The Hang Seng Mainland Composite Index gained 56.85 points, or 1.43 percent, to close at 4,037.07.
The Hang Seng China-Affiliated Corporations Index moved up 65. 13 points, or 1.63 percent, to close at 4,052.79.
The index tracks the performance of 34 locally listed companies with a significant equity interest held by entities in the Chinese mainland.
